As we all return to our homes, many of us find ourselves filled with inspiration and excitement from the three days we spent with MultiversX in Paris. With various topics covered during the panel discussions and keynotes, we all got the opportunity to participate in fascinating talks and see the introduction and unfolding of remarkable new products. 

Naturally, covering every moment of the conference would be challenging, as there were countless important announcements and launches. Nevertheless, over the next several days, we're compiling the most significant announcements, the latest initiatives, and exciting topics at X Day.

The most crucial announcement is, without a doubt, Elrond's new vision - MultiversX. A completely new name, strategy, and vision, where the "X" foreshadows the ten new products currently being developed.

Let's dive a bit deeper into these ten new products, which will launch in the upcoming months:

The Maiar Launchpad has been a success over the past months, receiving more than 1500 applications and admitting holoride, Itheum, Cantina Royale, and AshSwap into the program thus far; all Launchpad projects combined have raised more than $10 million from over 100,000 participants. MultiversX aims to launch more launchpad platforms, such as the Morningstar Ventures-powered EGLD Launchpad. The objective of the launchpad is to "decentralize the power of launchpads and include additional projects with various launchpad features.

In the past, users have experienced several issues with the Maiar Launchpad, such as passing through the KYC. The new xLaunchpad and EGLD Launchpad will address these issues and actively optimize and enhance its platforms. In the future, $LKMEX investors will be able to take part in launchpads corresponding to their LockedMEX holdings, and similar to the past, holding $EGLD stake will continue to provide one access to Launchpads.

Since its launch a few months ago, Inspire.art has already demonstrated excellent adoption and received great feedback. Inpire.art aimed to create a hub where all Elrond NFT initiatives could showcase their efforts to grow the community ecosystems.

With xSpotlight, the hub will become even more helpful to projects. Soon, a new website with a new user interface will go live, including the following updates:

- Creator features will all be refactored.

- A complete renovation of the explore section.

- The collections will feature updated ratings, search filters, and more.

The DEX is an integral part of the ecosystem. It gives all the ESDT Tokens their liquidity and enables swapping. The DEX launched one year ago and has already processed 2.5 million trades, totaling over $4 million.

The most significant change regarding the new DEX will be the energy produced when holding $LKMEX. The more you lock your $LKMEX; the more energy you get, 1 energy per day will give you 1 $LKMEX. $LKMEX will not be transferable anymore. 

Here is a summary of the benefits for the DEX 2.0:

Direct $LKMEX rewards for $LKMEX holders, no more need to stake

Metabonding rewards only for $LKMEX holders; no more need to stake

Additionally, there will be new burns, reflections, and other deflationary mechanics, such as:

50% of the fee when energy is removed from an $LKMEX will be burnt

100% of the 1% fee when withdrawing from a farm during the first 48-72hours will be burnt

50% of the swap fee going to $LKMEX holders will be burnt: 0.05% on each trade

Soon others: New community farms, new pairs based on auctions, lottery, etc.

In addition to all the mechanisms with the $LKMEX, the exchange will receive some updates and improvements, such as:

The DEX will work as follows; the more energy you have, the more rewards you get. The team will also introduce five different "Leagues", allowing you to track where you stand in rewards compared to other DEX users.

The recent Ad-Astra bridge was a great introduction to expanding cross-chain possibilities. Already 41 million USDC and 24 million worth of UTK were bridged.

Next, the team will add support for BNB Chain, more BEP20 assets, and more ERC20 assets such as $ETH, $BUSD, $USDT, $wBTC, etc... This will allow more DEX pairs for BTC/USDC, BTC/EGLD, ETH/USDC, BNB/USDC, etc...

Utrust x Twispay join forces to evolve and create - xMoney

The goal is to provide accessibility for quick payments with an easy integration process making Crypto and Fiat payments more accessible and secure than ever before.

Utrust is a crypto-to-bank payment solution that enables merchants to start accepting cryptocurrencies from buyers while receiving fiat currency settled directly in the bank account. It has low fees, no chargebacks, it's fast, and fraud is equal to zero. They provide seamless integration and checkout experience and easy-to-use integrations that support any wallet, with no ecosystem lock-in. Finally, Utrust allows new models, such as Merchant yid, to offset the transaction fees and turn a cost into revenue. 

Its partner, Twispay is the first e-money institution authorized by the Romanian National Bank back in 2013; it will provide the security for smooth payments thanks to its knowledge of registering more than $250 million in payments. Together the two want to reshape the digital payment system in the Metaverse.

xFabric enables a new set of applications that will underpin everything built in and outside the Metaverse by the community. It is built with two particular audience sectors in mind:

Creators and brands that want to take full advantage of Web3. Consisting entirely of customizable and instantly deployable solutions with a no-code required platform.

For institutions and enterprises that require a more specific set of functionality, a Sovereign Shard is being developed to integrate with xFabric fully. This aims to open up an entirely new path for businesses worldwide.

We Met Victor - EGLD Community’s Very Own Superhero! 

Today, we are happy to announce the  “EGLD Community 4 Victor” campaign, which we are initiating with the backing of Morningstar Ventures.

Our aim is to raise as much awareness as possible to support Victor, a special member of the Elrond Community.

For those of you who don’t know Victor’s story yet, he is a 1 year and 3 month’s old child from Sibiu, Romania. Victor is unfortunately fighting a difficult disease called “Spinal Muscular Atrophy” and his family needs all the support they can get to cover the costs for his treatment, called “Zolgensma”, and costs about 2.1 million USD.

For the second time, the Morningstar Ventures team will finance a donation to Victor cause, this time in collaboration with our social platform EGLD Community, who will focus on the community engagement and media exposure of the campaign.

With the support of Morningstar Ventures we are pledging to donate 20k USD to Victor’s campaign:

Can you please introduce Victor to us and also tell us about your family?

Hello, nice to meet you, beautiful community! Our family is made up of Victor, my wife Adelina and Me, Valentin. We are a normal and happy family from Sibiu, (Romania) and we’re very lucky to have Victor as our first child. Victor is a 1 year and 3 month’s old child and one of the strongest human beings I’ve ever known (at this moment Victor is also fighting Covid). He is the one that guides me to fight against this monstrous situation and charges me with power: I am just his messenger. Victor is a true fighter, a big inspiration for me, he teaches me to have faith, will, strength, to follow my dreams and to always stay focused and positive! In short words, he is my superhero, my SuperVictor!

Can you tell us about Victor's disease Victor? How and when did you find it out?

Victor has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy at the age of 11 months. Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a genetic (inherited) neuromuscular disease that causes muscles to become weak and waste away. When Victor was at the age of 4 months my wife had a bad feeling about him. She thought that he might have had something that wasn’t normal for a child. At that time she was spending at least 12 hours a day with Victor and she noticed that he was not moving as a normal 4 months old child does. So we started to book visits to pediatricians and neuro-pediatricians but unfortunately, due to covid rules, we managed to meet the first one at the age of 6 months. Once we met with the pediatrician she told us that Victor was slow, a bit hypotonous and that we had to take some vitamins. We did as the pediatrician said but we wanted to hear a second opinion. For this reason we went to another pediatrician but we received the same answer. At the age of 8 months we went again to check if we had made some improvements, but the situation was still the same: they recommended vitamins and other stuff. We followed the treatments, and at the age of 10 months we went to see if everything was ok but unfortunately Victor had no reflexes and he was suspected of SMA. We took blood samples to test if he was SMA positive and we waited 2 weeks for the results. We prayed a lot and hoped that the results were negative. Days were passing, and on 11 April 2022 we got the results. I remember that I was at work and it was 11:47 AM when my wife called me crying. She asked me to go home because Victor was SMA positive.

How much money is needed to guarantee the adequate treatments for Victor?

A lot of money is necessary for SMA treatments. Besides the 2.1 million dollar treatment which is called “Zolgensma” we have to buy orthosis, corsets, verticalisers and a lot of gadgets to help him recover. So yes, we need 2.1 million dollars only for a shot and for the rest of the costs we’ll have to see how we can raise them.

The overall Elrond Community has played a crucial role, how has the ecosystem supported Victor so far?

I can tell that the Elrond Community moved incredibly - I have only good words for this community! Every person is thinking about how to spread the word, new initiatives to obtain more funds, how to donate as much as possible and so much more.

Besides donating funds, what else can everyone in the Elrond Community do to help Victor?

Besides donating, I think the Elrond community could help spread the word. I am sure that together we can raise the necessary amount of money! A lot of people are helping me by giving motivational speeches - And yes, even these help a lot! When I started the fundraiser, my “strategy” was simple: 1 dollar from 2.1 million persons. I’m sure that together we can move mountains!

After weeks of testing, the Elrond team released the new Jungle DEX version, making it permissionless, automated, and fully decentralized regarding its listing process. Starting August 26th, you can expect these new features:

- The listing process is now fully automatic and permissionless to reduce the friction and help ESDT tokens kickstart their expansion.

- Initial liquidity requirements have been lowered from 20,000 $USD to 1,000 $USD.

"As you probably know, we announced Audi as the first official automotive partner to deliver "holoride-ready" cars earlier this year. This means that our product launch this fall will happen in close alignment with Audi. Selected Audi models are currently rolling off the production line with the third generation of the modular infotainment system and the latest software cluster being holoride-ready. Cantina Royale Launchpad Statistics & Listing On The DEX

In the final part of this Roundup, we will talk about Cantina Royale, which of course received a lot of attention over the last few weeks. From the Maiar Launchpad to the metastaking, to going through the price discovery phase, and finally being listed on the Maiar DEX, we want to congratulate Cantina Royale for their success with this process.

37,500,000 $CRT tokens were sold during this public sale (3.75% of the supply) for 30,000 winning tickets and 5,000 mystery boxes to be won.

In total, 362,258 tickets were sold on the launchpad and 12,808 mystery box tickets. 

It was a massive success for this project that just ended their NFT sale with a fast sell out. Now listed on the DEX, at time of writing, the price is around $0.26 per $CRT. The price discovery was a big success, having seen the price rise from $0.06 to $0.33 in just 24 hours.
